Hi hello.

Welcome to Designing for Feelings.

This juicy little corner of the internet is in service of collectively building more spaces for radical imagination. For listening to poetry, wilderness, story, laughter, and the messy — and asking what they might teach us about designing experiences.

And it is also:
  • A love letter to the weaving of feelings, space, and time

  • A folio of blueprints for the architectures of spaces

  • A log of walks taken in the woods

  • A playground of metaphors and magic

  • A deep dive into the engineering of transitions, transmutations, and transmogrifications

  • An imagining of what it means to design for the radical, the hope, and the queer

And mostly and entirely it is a set of invitations for you. To deepen into the undisciplined discipline of experience design, together. To live in the love languages of questions and lumpy dumpy brainstorms. To practice the craft of curiosity.

This is for you if…
  • You think you might be an experience designer

  • You’ve never heard of experience design but, wait wait that sounds…intriguing and like maybe that’s the thing you’ve been doing all along?

  • You gather humans

  • You’re a holder of spaces

  • You like making things weird and spicy and unexpected

  • You are a purveyor of portals

  • Your brain could do with a good stretch and maybe even a full-on back handspring cartwheel combo

  • You’re bored and feeling flat and need some juice

Welcome. Let us go in awe and hold hands.
